Raddicombe Lodge is ideally placed for a wide variety of walks that we are sure you and your pet will enjoy. Fields and our local beach Man Sands can be directly accessed from the back gate of our dog-friendly B&B in Devon.

We are on hand to make your stay relaxing and easy. We can provide:

  • Details of dog walks, dog-friendly pubs and inns and beaches.
  • Dog towel, bed and blanket, and bowls for food and water.
  • Emergency dog food.
  • Pooper bags.
  • Bucket and sponge (for dog washing).
  • Vet information.
  • Torch for late night dog walks.
  • Dog treats from reception on arrival.

Up to two dogs welcome. Dogs are allowed in the garden and deck area, and can join their owners for breakfast. The garden is illuminated at night for dog wets.

We want to ensure that both you and your dog enjoy your holiday in Devon and hope that the following information and guidelines will prove helpful:

  • Dogs are allowed at Raddicombe Lodge entirely at the discretion of the owners of the lodge. You should always check about bringing dogs at the time of booking your accommodation
  • You are welcome to let your dog onto the lodge lawn as long as they are kept under control at all times
  • Dogs are charged at £9 per night 
  • For health and safety reasons, and in consideration of your fellow guests, please use grass areas near by for toilet and always clean up after your dog. Pooper bags are available from reception to assist you in removing any "deposits". A pooper bin is provided for used bags
  • We reserve the right to refuse any dog entry to the lodge and the right to request that owners remove any dog from the premises at any time during your stay, if the dog is deemed to be a nuisance to other guests or has caused any damage to lodge property. We make an additional charge to dog owners for any cleaning or repair that is deemed beyond normal wear and tear
  • Dogs are not permitted in the conservatory dining room during breakfast
  • Dogs are not to be left unattended in the bedrooms. Many dogs can be distressed by being left alone in an unfamiliar room. They can disturb other guests by barking and some have been known to cause damage… so for your dog's sake, and other guests, we have adopted this policy. Most guests leave their dogs in their car while having breakfast. When the weather is fine we are more than happy to serve you breakfast in the garden, that way you can have your dog with you
  • In the unlikely event of your dog requiring any vetinary assistance, we will be pleased to help you
